PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
CREATING A PASSION PROJECT
Introduction to entrepreneurship including brainstorming, researching, branding, budgeting, and pitching!
NETWORKING & MENTORSHIP
Although this is an individual program, girls will be paired with a mentor and 1-2 other girls for the meetings. This will create guidance but also allow for girls to connect and support each other. Girls will also have opportunities to be mentored by guest entrepreneurs!
“FASTPITCH” COMPETITION NIGHT
All are invited to watch our HER Venturists pitch to a panel of current female entrepreneurs for our “FastPitch” competition night! All participants will have an opportunity to present their business and practice their pitching skills to our amazing female judges.
TRANSLATING SPORT TO BUSINESS
The skills learned in sport are used in business every day. Girls will have an opportunity to explore their passions and creativity, while applying skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, receiving feedback, and seeing the big picture of how they can contribute to society.

Grades 4-8 Girls
4 weeks starting the week of July 5, 2021
2 meetings/week + FastPitch Competition Night
Maximum 1:3 mentor to participant ratio

Each individual will schedule their weekly meeting times with their mentor.
FastPitch Competition Night is Thursday, July 29 @ 6:30pm!
